Moving out Instructions:

TENANT’S CLEANING LIST BEFORE VACATING THE PREMISES-

The apartment was left for you in excellent condition. I expect the same in return from you when you move out. The following is what needs to be done before vacating the apartment. Failure to do so will result in money taken out of your security deposit. Fees for cleaning are listed below.

• Kitchen cabinets must be cleaned inside and out.

• The kitchen needs to be thoroughly cleaned.

• The kitchen floor needs to be swept and mopped.

• The refrigerator & and freezer need to be washed inside and out. No debris or old food stuck on shelves.

• The stove needs to be cleaned inside and out. Remove burner pans and replace them. Clean old burned food off the inside. Clean the oven.

• The carpet needs to be shampooed and vacuumed. A receipt must be left proving you hired a Carpet cleaning service. NO RUG DOCTORS ALLOWED. 

• Hardwoods need to be swept and mopped clean.

• The tile needs to be swept and mopped clean.

• Windows need to be washed inside.

• Bathroom tub and walls need to be scrubbed free of old soap scum.

• The toilet, sink, mirror, and floor need to be thoroughly cleaned.

• Vanity must be cleaned inside and out.

• Baseboards need to be cleaned.

• Walls must be washed and cleaned.

• All garbage needs to be removed from the property. Leaving trash in the basement, or garage( if applicable) will cost you a portion of your security deposit. I will provide a dump receipt.

• The following is a list of cleaning fees that will be deducted from your security deposit if not completed:

• Refrigerator - $100.00

• Stove- $100.00

• Tub- $100.00

• Kitchen cabinets -$100.00 

• Shampooing carpet-$150.00 or more. This depends on how much we get charged.

• The cleaning per hour rate is $100.00 in addition to the above charges.
